The A Coruña Convention Centre, designed by the architects César Portela and Ricardo Bofill, is located on the Ocean Liner Pier, "Muelle de Transatlánticos".

The complex covers a surface area of some 22000 m2, divided into two large zones: a 9000 m2 building, housing the Convention and Exhibition Centre and a triangular structure measuring 10000 m2 which comprises a shopping centre and areas for leisure activities.

PALEXCO, dry-docked on land, perched on the extension of the Ocean Liner Pier, rises up like a ship made of steel and glass, a sturdy, yet delicate looking construction. The building’s roof defines the essence of the project – a wide, undulating structure, reminiscent of the ebb and flow of the sea. The glass façade, offering sweeping views of the bay and the ample spaces work together to interconnect the sea and the city.

Elegance and functionality are the keys to the project.
